A Nutritarian strives to increase their healthspan (the number of years lived in good health) by following a longevity-promoting, plant-rich diet, while also considering the integral role that exercise, sleep, hormones, and stress play in our health and vitality.

The Nutritarian diet is a plant-based, nutrient-rich diet. Foods are chosen based on their nutritional quality in order to optimize health. Nutritarians strive to eat foods rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and other phytochemicals found in plants to enhance their immune function and combat disease. Unhealthy foods are crowded out, and health risks go down! It is a diet full of nutrient-rich foods that are naturally low in calories, and high in fiber and protein that will keep you satisfied. Processed items, added sugars, and excessive oils are avoided.
